Friday finally brought enough wind for racing. Conditions were still uneven in the morning on the STS course, but they gradually improved as the day went on. Sled and wing classes completed their qualification rounds, followed by five races for wings and three races for sleds.
Kite classes ran course racing throughout the day and managed to finish all races permitted in the daily schedule.
The GPS window was open according to the timetable, but no GPS racing took place. The required instructions were missing from the Official Notice Board, which means no world champion will be declared in the GPS discipline this year.
